A 'First' for Facebook
Want to get your hands on Facebook's fresh mobile device? AT&T's HTC First smartphone goes on sale April 12 for $99.99.
Photos are your start screen
Facebook messages become your start screen. If you don't like Facebook Home, you can disable it completely and use the First as a stock Android phone.
Sealed off
With the exception of openings for the headset jack, Micro-USB charging port, and SIM card slot, the First is all sealed up. That means there's no microSD card slot or removable battery.
A soft touch
Luckily, it's coated with a soft-touch finish that makes the First comfortable to hold.
Camera business
The First's 5-megapixel camera takes some pretty good shots for its resolution, and also captures 1080p HD video. Nice!
Top view
You'll find the phone's power button and 3.5mm headset jack up top.
Color spectrum
Besides black, you can buy the HTC First in white, red, or light blue.
