LAS VEGAS--At CES 2013, Cricket displayed its Alcatel Authority, a previously released handset that will hit the carrier's official and online stores on January 20.
Jam with Muve Music
The Authority has a 4.3-inch display and comes loaded with Muve Music, the carrier's music subscription service.
Chugging along
Powering the handset is a 1.4GHz processor and 1,500mAh battery.
Light in the hand
The Authority measures 5 inches tall, 2.67 inches wide, and 0.4 inch thin. In addition, it has a lightweight construction.
Dated with Gingerbread
Unfortunately, the smartphones ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with no plans for an update.
Cheesing it up
On the back of the device is a 5-megapixel camera and on the front sits a VGA camera.
