A brand-new way to read Facebook and the news with Paper (pictures)

Facebook's Paper for iOS gives you a much more visual interface than the official app, with your News Feed alongside curated news content.

Browse Facebook with Paper

Using Facebook's Paper, you can look at your profile page, see your About section, and browse your photos and friends. But swiping the lower cards to the left will bring up all the statuses you've posted, along with other items posted to your wall.

Add news categories

Paper lets you customize your news feeds by dragging categories from the bottom to the top. You also can pull news categories out of your feed if you decide you don't need or want them.

The main features

When you swipe down from the main page, you get to the main actions of the app. Here you can search for friends, view your profile, create a post to go on your Facebook wall, change your news feeds with the Edit Sections option, or change the app's main settings.

Sports news in Score

If you add Score to your news sections, you'll get all the latest sports headlines from Facebook's curated sports news sources. Unfortunately, you can't add sources of your own.

Article landing page

When you tap a news item that has an associated long-form article, the app gives you this landing page for a quick summary. Tapping the title or swiping upward will open the story on the source Web site.
