A 13-inch half laptop, half tablet from HP (pictures)

The Pavilion 13 X2 is the HP Pavilion 11 X2's big brother, with a 13-inch body and more storage thanks to a 500GB hard drive. You also get to choose between an AMD A6 or Intel Haswell processor.

The Pavilion 13 X2 has the same-resolution screen as on the Pavilion 11 X2, with 1,366x768 pixels. HP says from its market research, consumers don't notice a difference between this resolution and one that's higher on the same size screen.

HP includes a keyboard dock with a touch pad to transform the 13-inch tablet into a full-functioning laptop.

On the left edge of the keyboard dock, there's a USB port and headphone jack.

The right edge of the keyboard dock features a HDMI, USB, and a charging port.

While the Pavilion 11 X2 has a shiny exterior, the 13 X2 is wrapped in a soft, matte covering.
