3Doodler is now more than a simple plastic-pushing pen. Click through to check out some of the plastic-pushing pen's various accessories.
First up is the DoodleStand. It's a simple plastic affair, but does give you a place to keep the hot 3Doodler pen when you're not using it.
Here's how the pen looks when placed in its stand. Kind of like a spaceship, or a half-peeled banana.
The people behind 3Doodler assert that the stand will actually make it easier to draw in plastic if you don't have especially steady hands. Move the stand around as you print, and you may find drawing precise lines becomes a little simpler.
Next up is this pedal, new for IFA 2014. You control it using your feet, a little like a sewing machine. The two pedals let you push plastic from the pen at either fast or slow speeds.
The pedal plugs into the back of the pen like so.
Here's the stand (in its packaging) and the pedal next to each other.
Our final accessory -- the 3Doodler also has a set of six different nozzles, each with a slightly different hole in the tip. These were announced earlier this year.
There are ribbon-shaped, square and triangular nozzles, to give you some variation in the plastic you're pushing.
The tiny metal accessories come with a tool for unscrewing nozzles from the 3Doodler that also stores them, so they don't get lost. But watch out -- the nozzles get hot during use!
