2019 Lexus RC 350 is a relaxed ride

The Lexus RC has been visually updated for 2019 and it looks better than ever.

But don't be fooled by its sporty, aggressive looks. It's really just a plush cruiser.

No matter the angle, this luxury coupe is attention-grabbing. Base prices for the RC range from $41,145 to $50,790 plus $1,025 for destination.

The RC 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine pumping out 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque that's sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine comes standard on the RC 300.

EPA-estimated fuel economy comes in at 20/28 city/highway mpg for the RC 350. The RC 300 isn't much better with just 21/30 city/highway mpg.

The RC 350's interior is comfortable and spacious for the driver and front passenger, but rear-seat occupants over average height will find their quarters cramped.

Standard Apple CarPlay looks fantastic on the available 10.3-inch display. Compulsory safety features include collision-mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and automatic high beams.

Available LED headlamps light up the road with ease.

Out back, there's 10.4 cubic feet of trunk space.
