2016 Range Rover Sport SVR in pictures
How's about a look around the fastest Range Rover money can buy?
Where once there was a fog light, now there's an air intake.
Extra brake cooling, too.
Quad exhausts help it stand out.
See the spoiler on the back? It's not just there for cosmetic reasons.
The SVR is lighter than the normal RRS.
It still weighs 2.3 tonnes though.
Its 542bhp V8 does hide that, though.
It'll hit 62mph in less than five seconds.
And it'll top 162mph.
Yes, Land Rover is late to the high performance SUV party, but is that so bad?
It meant there was time to get it right.
In fact, the car was delayed six months to make sure it was the best it could be.
SVO likens it more to a 911 Turbo than a GT3.
So it's not going to punish you for wanting to go fast.
Being a Range Rover it's also super capable off road.
If it wasn't good in mud, heads would roll.
The bizarre thing is how good it is on standard rubber.
You might, feasibly, be able to drive from the top of Snowdon to Le Mans and do a cheeky lap on the same day.
Now there's a thought.
As a first 'proper' SVO car, the SVR is incredible.
Lord knows what they'll come up with next.
Probably a 200mph battle tank (they won't).
Cool logo, no?
