Apple iPad

Apple will start shipping the iPad sometime in March. Has it lived up to the hype? Maybe, maybe not. But at least the $499 entry-level model is more affordable than we thought it would be.

3D TV

Sometime around the middle of this year, we expect to see the first 3D TVs hit the market along with 3D Blu-ray players. Will 3D sets be a hit or bomb? That's unclear, but we can't wait to review one.

With many Android smartphones coming out in 2010, we've highlighted a few we're most intrigued by. Among them: Dell's entry, the Mini 3.

iPhone 4G

This is old concept art for a next-gen iPhone but who knows, maybe Apple will move to an aluminum unibody design (similar to its Macbook Pro line) for the next iPhone. And perhaps we'll see a Verizon iPhone this year. We know a lot of people waiting for one.

Next iPod Touch

You'd think the next iPod Touch would look a lot like the next iPhone. Our guess: it probably will but will leave off a few key features. Hopefully, Apple will add a camera this go around.

Lenovo Skylight smartbook

The Skylight is what you get when you combine an Android smartphone with a Netbook (yes, it runs Android). We'll see whether it ignites a new category or fizzles.

PS3 motion controller

This is just a concept, but Sony's PS3's wand-like motion controller, which was demoed at E3 last year, is supposed to become a real product in 2010. Some say it will be the "Arc," but that's just a rumor.

This is Microsoft's answer to the Wii motion controller: you are the controller.

Amazon Kindle 3

We're waiting for the next-gen Kindle, but lots of new e-readers will hit the market in 2010. Pictured here is the Spring Design Alex, which features a 6-inch e-ink screen along with an Android-powered 3.5-inch color screen. It's due out in February for $359.

Mobile DTV

Mobile DTV is launching this year, and that means you'll be able to pick up digital signals while you're in a moving vehicle like a car or a train. The Tivit (pictured about) will allow you to stream DTV to your iPhone.

Windows Mobile 7 devices

Microsoft says Windows Mobile 7 will finally arrive this year. Does that mean we'll see a Zune smartphone? Who knows, but it had better turn up soon or it risks becoming irrelevant.

Based on the Chumby platform, the Dash is Sony's 21st century Dream Machine clock radio. Sony calls it a Personal Internet Viewer and it comes out in April for $199.

Nintendo DSi XL

Will the jumbo version of the DSi bring mobile gaming to a new audience? We're not sure, but any new Nintendo hardware release has our attention. It's supposed to arrive in the U.S. by March with an as-yet-to-be-announced price tag.

Parrot AR.Drone

This is one of those gadgets that everyone was talking about at CES. This quadricopter has a built-in camera and Wi-Fi for video streaming, plus you can fly it using your iPhone or iPod Touch. No word on exactly when it will be available or how much it will cost, but it's supposed to arrive this year.

TiVo Series 4

A bit of info has leaked about a possible next-gen TiVo system, which may or may not be called the Premiere. But a lot of hard-core TiVo fans are curious to see what new features the next TiVo will offer.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Android phone

It will probably cost a small fortune, but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 looks sweet.
