Zombie Santa, undead elves deliver ho-ho-horror

If you gravitate toward the devilish rather than the elvish at Christmastime, you just might want to head to Tennessee for an attraction like no other.

Oh, you better watch out alright! Death Yard Haunted Attraction

If Christmas is all just a little too jolly for you and you'd rather eat reindeer droppings than hear Mariah belt out "All I Want For Christmas Is You" one more time, you might want to head to Hendersonville, Tenn., this weekend. That's where you'll find your own personal jingle hell called the Horrific Haunted Holiday that's being put on by a group known as the Death Yard Horror Attraction.

Best known for their haunted house-style tours, for this one weekend, the group will fill a collection of warehouses with the prancing and pawing of the undead at an attraction with a unique spin on Christmas.

"Instead of Christmas cheer, we are spreading some holiday fear," Carroll Moore of Death Yard told Reuters. The attraction will feature a zombie Santa, his undead elves, one demonic reindeer and of course, killer clowns dressed in their holiday finest, according to the news agency.

While you might think the Death Yard folks to be psycho Scrooges, they're actually putting the whole event on for charity. Admission will cost you $10 and a new unwrapped toy, which will be given to kids in need. Even better, you can pay an extra $5 and head outside to blast the zombie refugees from the North Pole with paintball guns.

Now that's what I call a jolly good time. (If you're in the area and want to participate, find out more details on the Death Yard Facebook page.)
