Zia Laser notches up $5.4 million

Zia Laser announced Monday it raised a $5.4 million second round of funding, co-led by Prism Venture Partners and RWI Group. The Albuquerque, N.M.-based company has raised a total of $11.4 million to date. Zia Laser develops and makes semiconductor laser technology for test and measurement communication systems and for the optical components industry.
