This gorgeous, hand-built zeppelin lamp is something we'd love to have gracing our home reading rooms.

Made by Flaminio Bovino of BovLamp, the Zep Lamp is inspired by the German zeppelins of the early 20th century, with the airbag as a lampshade and a steel girder stand.

The constructs are built from burnished steel and brass, and it's environmentally friendly, too — it runs on low-voltage LEDs, operated by two switches just beneath the shade.

It's a beautiful piece of craft, but production numbers are limited and we have no idea where you'd get one anyway ... so we'll just have to settle for looking at the stunning pictures.
