Available now, the app is designed to take advantage of the Vita's 3G capabilities and high-definition 960x540 OLED screen.

Within the app, there's a broad range of functionality: logging in to your YouTube account; two viewing modes, full screen and small screen; the ability to search videos; add videos to your favourites; and add comments and likes.

Of course, not all videos are available in HD, but those that are can be viewed in 720p, with a button to toggle between HD and SD.

To download the free app, visit the PlayStation Store on your PlayStation Vita.
