If there was ever a time for an art fanatic to head to Tokyo, teamLab's DMM.PLANETS exhibition would be it. Part of the exhibition is "Crystal Universe," a massive maze of light that allows visitors to interact by wandering through it (or using the special smartphone app to trigger special light shows).
We're also chatting about Obi, the robotic arm designed to help patients feed themselves if they cannot, or require assistance. It's a little bit pricey (albeit potentially life-altering for people who need it), but over time, we hope inventions like Obi are the same price as a coffeemaker or a toaster oven.
