Yahoo is partnering with America Movil, a leading wireless-service provider in Latin America, on mobile-search services.

Under the deal, Yahoo's OneSearch will be the default mobile-search service for the wireless carriers' portals, and the portals will have prominent links to Yahoo's mobile-Web properties. Yahoo also will be deploying local-language versions of OneSearch for each region.
Yahoo OneSearch offers a quick way for mobile users to get their search results, as well as access to news, financial information, weather conditions, and other information.
In October, Yahoo announced a mobile-search and ad partnership with another big Latin America provider, Spain's Telefonica.
