People using Yahoo's MyWeb service to archive search results will soon be sent to Delicious to maintain and share bookmarks, in lieu of MyWeb. (Yahoo bought the social bookmarking site Delicious in December 2005.)

The Web giant will also give users the option to store site favorites at Yahoo Bookmarks, an application it updated Wednesday, along with newer toolbar software.

In the world of Web applications, there are updates almost every day. But Yahoo is touting new features that give people using both the toolbar and bookmark software an easier time managing favorite sites. Improvements include a search function and tagging capabilities for bookmarks.
