Yahoo's health and fitness information site, Yahoo Health, inked a deal on March 12 with HealthiNation, a start-up that produces health-oriented educational videos and digital content for consumer audiences. HealthiNation, which was founded in April 2005, now provides media to Yahoo Health that ranges from 3D animations to on-camera doctors to testimonials from people who have opted to share their health-related experiences.

Yahoo has operated its health portal for some time now, overhauling it into the current Yahoo Health brand in 2002. Despite unique features such as the celebrity health blogs launched in 2005, it still lags behind other major players in the online health market, like WebMD.
