Xelus said Wednesday that it has raised $15 million in a third round of funding, led by Mellon Ventures. Previous investors Oak Investment Partners, Union Bank of Switzerland, Integral Capital Partners and Insight Capital Partners joined the round. Rochester, N.Y.-based Xelus' software is designed to enable companies to help move people and parts to needed locations. Some industries that use the software include the aircraft and utilities sectors.
