Fox picks up new X-Men TV pilot

The television network will work with Marvel on a pilot for a new show set in the X-Men universe, with Bryan Singer serving as executive producer.

20th Century Fox

There could soon be another X-Men show on TV to get you your mutant fix.

Fox has commissioned a pilot for a yet-to-be-named show that'll take place in the X-Men universe, reports Variety. It'll follow two human parents who connect with a group of mutants after discovering their children have super powers.

The show, which will be co-produced by Marvel, will be the second X-Men show on TV, after FX's Legion, if it gets picked up for a full season.

Bryan Singer, director of "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past", will serve as the show's executive producer, according to the publication.
