Twitter admits it needs to do a better job handling trolls, and it made at least one step in that direction.

The social-media site permanently banned conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos after he incited a Twitter mob to bully "Ghostbusters" star Leslie Jones with racist and misogynist tweets. We debate Twitter's next move forward and how it may balance First Amendment issues while curbing bullying.

Also, to lighten things up, we discuss weak interest in the upcoming iPhone 7 and a jet-pack golf cart.

The 3:59 gives you bite-size news and analysis about the top stories of the day, brought to you by CNET Executive Editor Roger Cheng, Senior Writer Ben Fox Rubin and Producer Bryan VanGelder.
