Nokia unveiled a wireless access point Monday meant not to clash with the carefully designed hotel lobbies or airport executive lounges where these Wi-Fi systems are springing up. The access point, which hangs on a ceiling or wall, is a little smaller than most and "looks better," with a sleeker design, according to a Nokia spokeswoman. The access points are available worldwide, according to the spokeswoman. They use the 802.11b, or Wi-Fi, standard. The company did not quote a price for the systems, but wireless access points generally cost between $100 and $200.
