Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum, Lumpy Space Princess, the Ice King, BMO, Lady Rainicorn and the rest of the gang from Cartoon Network's animated series "Adventure Time" are up for a vote on Lego Ideas that could turn them into an official set. All they need is 10,000 votes to be considered for production by the official Lego team.

Created by talented fan aBetterMonkey, this impressive Lego set called "Brick-built Adventure Time figures" has some of the coolest characters to ever grace our TV screens from the unusual Cartoon Network series.

The fan-submitted set includes Finn with his sword, Jake the dog, Princess Bubblegum, Lady Rainicorn, Marceline with her axe-bass, BMO with joysticks, the Ice King with ice lightning, Gunter, Lumpy Space Princess, Tree Trunks, Flame Princess, Ricardio, Earl of Lemongrab with his sword, the Lich with green flames and the snail.

Sadly, there's no appearance by the Peppermint Butler, but it's still one amazing collection considering the time and effort that must have gone into making Lego brick versions of these beloved characters.

"Sturdy builds with basic poseability were the goal to make this a toy set rather than a display model," the Lego Ideas description states. "The small scale used helped make the parts count low at 640 bricks for 15 characters with accessories."

Fans of both Lego and "Adventure Time" have been buzzing about this set so much that it earned the distinction of "Staff Pick" from Lego. The set needs 10,000 votes by supporters before its 336 days are up to move to the next phase, where Lego will review it to possibly be made into a real set for purchase. As of Monday morning, the set had 542 votes.

This isn't the first attempt by fans to get an official "Adventure Time" Lego set. In 2013, we saw a magnificent Lego model of Jake and Finn's tree fort up for a vote on Lego Ideas, but unfortunately it did not get enough votes. Hopefully, this time we'll get the "Adventure Time" Lego set we all deserve.

The bizarro animated escapades of Jake and Finn can be seen on Cartoon Network, and the show will return as part of the network's 2015-2016 lineup of shows, not to mention an upcoming feature film. Mathematical!
