Whaddyareckon?: Recycling your tech

When it's time to bid farewell to your old gadgets, do you pitch them into the skip or send them to the recycling plant?

Recycling. We've all gotten the hang of carting our newspapers and bottles to the kerb once a week, but what about recycling our electronics?

With new mobile phones and MP3 players practically begging to be bought every six months, pre-loved products can start to take up some serious shelf space. The earth-friendly solution is to recycle those suckers, but would you know where to take them?

In Whaddyareckon? this week we're asking whether you recycle your gadgets.

If, like many we interviewed, you're not sure where to drop off your old phones, have a squiz at our Ask Us video on recycling tired handsets.
