Wells Fargo, Intuit team up

Wells Fargo and Intuit have developed a system to help small businesses to process credit card transactions. The new QuickBooks POS Merchant Service will allow businesses to automatically send transaction data from QuickBooks Point of Sale software into QuickBooks 2002 accounting software. The companies said the idea is to eliminate manual input, reducing the costs associated with administration and potentially reducing the number of errors made during that process. Merchants will be able to process the credit card transactions using Wells Fargo's secure payment and processing service.
