You may notice a few changes in Reviews on CNET.co.uk -- don't worry, you're not going crazy. We've relaunched the Reviews channel and made a bunch of changes that we hope will make the site more useful.
First up is a set of new editorial blogs so that the reviews team can update you on little titbits of news and gossip that we wouldn't otherwise be able to share. There are personal blogs for each member of the editorial team, like this one, or that of our mobile phone guru Andrew Lim.
We've also added what we call the Technosaurus -- a glossary that will grow into a technology encyclopedia that explains the jargon you need to understand when surfing the murky waters of the gadget world.
We've improved the Reviews Category homepages, which now allow us to share a lot more content within each product area. There are new Most Popular pages, making it easier to check the products that other users of CNET.co.uk have found most interesting, and we've improved Search within categories to make it easier to hunt down specific products. Once you've found them, there's a new page that allows you to Compare Products head-to-head.
Finally, we've updated the overall look and feel of Reviews to make the section look a bit more spiffy. You'll see the other sections of the site gradually fall in to line as we roll out this new look.
We hope you like the changes we've made, and hats off to Mary Lojkine, who has master-minded this project with tremendous skill. Send your thoughts to us at firstname.lastname@example.org -- we'd love to hear from you.
