- Consumer Price Index is one of most significant measures of inflation, monitoring the decline or fall of the price of a fixed basket of consumer goods and services. March growth is expected to come in at 0.4 percent, down from 1.0 percent.
- Retail Sales measures total receipts from U.S. stores. March sales are expected to rise to 0.2 percent, from a decline of 1.6 percent the previous month. Excluding auto sales, growth is predicted to be 0.3 percent, compared with a drop of 1.0 percent.
