WebMap Technologies gets $6 million

WebMap Technologies, an Internet-navigation software maker, said Tuesday it received a $6 million investment. Privately held WebMap, which produces map zooming technology, received funds from Deutsche Asset Management, Technorov, Investor International of New York, Nechesa Mishpachat Fishman Nihul Ltd. and TLD Holdings. The recent investment brings the Boston-based company's total funding to $7 million since its founding in 1999.
