Watch live-action Pac-Man battle ghosts with sweet parkour skills

Pac-Man is a parkour champ in a live-action video where cherries get eaten, ghosts get avoided and a power pellet comes at just the right time.

Talk about high concept. Filmmakers Fury Fingers decided to mash up the '80s video game Pac-Man with a reboot of '70s escape-through-surreal-gangland film "The Warriors." Oh yeah, and there's a bunch of modern parkour in there, too.

"PACMAN: Come out to Play" arrived on YouTube Monday and it's got action, battle scenes, ghosts and Pac-Man in human form sporting a yellow hoodie. Seeing Pac-Man with legs and a beard is a little disconcerting at first, but you quickly meld into the spirit of the short film.

Fury Fingers says the 1979 cult film "The Warriors" inspired the Pac-Man movie. It follows a street gang called The Warriors as they battle through New York City on their way home to Coney Island.

The Pac-Man ghosts (Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde) are a "Warriors"-style street gang with matching denim vests. The basic plot involves Pac-Man running from and battling the ghosts as they chase him around streets that double as the maze from the game.

The video isn't all live action. There are computer-generated cherries and special effects you will recognize from the many hours of your life you spent playing Pac-Man.
