The animated video re-creates Super Bowl commercials from such brands as T-Mobile, Snickers and Toyota, as well asad and the -- all into Lego.
Eventakes a minifigure selfie. Plus, Katy Perry makes a halftime show appearance on her giant Voltron lion.
A team consisting of model makers, animators, editors and storyboard artists worked feverishly for 36 hours in a 5,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art animation studio, which had been converted into a Lego hub -- "complete with thousands of bricks and a Lego training camp to teach the animators the art of creating brick movies," according to the "Brick Bowl" website.
"Stop motion productions can take anywhere between 4 months to 4 years to make -- turning this animation around in 36 hours and working with Lego to re-create the most prestigious ad slot in history into a new story has been a huge accomplishment," Dan Richards, Director at A+C Studios, said in a statement. "It's been an adrenaline-filled couple of days and we hope everyone who watches Brick Bowl has as much fun as we all had making it."
Here's hoping next year, all the commercials the run during the Super Bowl really are completely made from Lego.
