Video depicting the movie version of Batman wiping out criminals reminds us all never to get on the Caped Crusader's bad side. Also, stay clear of his reckless driving.
There are two types of superheroes -- those who battle the bad guys but leave them with a pulse, and those who kill first and ask for forgiveness later.
We already know Batman has a troubled childhood and anger issues, so it shouldn't be too much of a leap to see the man in the mask leave behind a death count closer to a small plague when he's cleaning up crime in Gotham. He always claims that his rule is not to kill anyone, but the proof from the films says otherwise.
In this "Batman Movie Kill Count Supercut" video, posted this week by YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies, we see the Caped Crusader wipe out villains, thugs, gang members and anyone who dares to stand on the wrong side of the law.
Some of those deaths aren't too surprising (Joker and the Penguin kind of had it coming). But sometimes we forget the other guys who support their twisted leaders in a life of crime, and Batman is there to blow them up with grenades, set fire to them with his car and drop buildings on them.
When Batman says, "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you," we all know that still counts as murder, right?
Even the old-school Adam West Batman from the 1966 "Batman" TV series gets a kill in, though technically he claims he reduced the villain to antimatter with just a mere kick to the face. Yeah, Robin is a little shocked too.
Of course, this video doesn't take into account all the deaths Batman has caused in the comics. Those are actually much more brutal.
