Warner Bros has announced that it will be making a number of its TV series available via selected video-streaming services just hours after they air in the US.

The list of shows that Warner Bros will be fast tracking is:

  • Vampire Diaries season 5

  • Hostages season 1

  • Supernatural season 9

  • Hart of Dixie season 3

  • Big Bang Theory season 7

  • Two and A Half Men season 11

  • Super Fun Night season 1

  • The Carrie Diaries season 2

  • Revolution season 2

The shows will be available via iTunes, the PlayStation Network and Xbox Video.

Fast tracking shows has beenmuch touted in Australia, where the often-lengthy delays between US air time of shows and their subsequent availability on local legal video services (or free to air) is believed to contribute to piracy.
