Just 10 days shy of its 10th anniversary (November 23), Blizzard will be launching the fifth expansion for World of Warcraft.

On November 13, 2014, players will have full access to everything Warlords of Draenor has to offer, including player housing, followers, guild housing, a level 90 boost for one character, and Garrosh Hellscream travelling through time.

"Players will encounter an epic cast of legendary characters and a huge amount of content to explore in Warlords of Draenor," said Blizzard co-founder and CEO Mike Morhaime.

"The countdown to the arrival of one of the greatest threats in Warcraft history has begun. We can't wait to send everyone through the Dark Portal this November."

At its event in Gamescom, Blizzard also unveiled the expansion's opening cinematic and the first episode of "Lords of War" -- an animated miniseries that introduces some of the characters in the new expansion and details their place in the game's history.

Blizzard will be throwing a massive celebration for World of Warcraft's 10th anniversary. Every player who logs on during the two-week event, commencing November 17 and concluding December 1, will receive a Molten Corgi pet. In addition, the game will re-enact one of the game's most famous PvP battles, Tarren Mill vs Southshore, turning the area into a temporary 100 v 100 battleground. Finally, a new version of the Molten Core dungeon will be available for 40-man raids, with a Core Hound mount awarded for taking out Ragnaros.
