Sony Ericsson is partnering with a company called to deliver song-identification technology to all Walkman phones. TrackID will appear initially in the W850 and W710 models worldwide. GraceNote says the technology will be able to identify songs heard on the phones' built-in FM radio or from a nearby source, such as a car radio or a speaker. We don't have details on pricing yet, but GraceNote claims a music database of 10 million songs.
