New mobile broadband customers can now choose either a AU$19, AU$29, AU$39 or AU$59 plan, with the top-tier offering 18GB each month. All pricing options include a USB modem and are over a 12-month contract period.

These revised plans replace six options previously, with the old AU$19 and AU$49 options removed. All plans have received an increase in data, with the AU$19 plan up to 2GB from 1.5GB, and the AU$59 plan benefiting from an extra 4GB each month.

Importantly, there are no excess usage fees associated with these plans. Virgin throttles usage to 128kb/s after customers reach their montly quota for the first 250MB. The service is then blocked until the first day of the next billing cycle.
