Sony Ericsson is pinning its hopes on the Satio, a stunning touchscreen phone that it says will combine the photo quality of a Cybershot phone with the music talents of a Walkman phone in a new mobile category it's calling 'communication entertainment'. The Satio's been getting us hot under the collar since MWC, when it was called the Idou.

We took a look at a preproduction model at yesterday's launch, and the Satio impressed us with its long list of specs, crowned with a 12.1-megapixel camera with a zenon flash. The Satio is shaping up to be one of the most exciting phones of the year, and we can't wait to see if it lives up to its promise.

Have a look at the video for an introduction to some of the Satio's top features.
