Video-on-demand comes to cable

People in Forth Worth, Texas, and St. Louis will be able watch videos on demand through their cable operator, the result of a deal between Diva and cable TV company Charter Communications. Diva, a video-on-demand company, said its services would let Charter subscribers watch, pause and rewind hundreds of programs--including children's shows and ESPN events--whenever they want to through a special set-top box. Diva services are available in 26 markets.
