Video: Lexus RX450h hybrid won't knock up your daughter

Crossover vehicles -- aka mini SUVs -- get a pretty bad rap. Common opinion says they pollute the environment, they're horrible to drive, they take up three parking spaces and they'll impregnate your teenage daughter while you're not looking.

The Lexus RX450h promises to be different. It uses a hybrid propulsion system that -- despite using three separate engines -- spits out less CO2 and returns more miles per gallon than your average four-door saloon. It's also packed with technology, including a head-up display, 5.1-channel surround-sound system and a mouse (a mouse, we tell you) that lets you control the various features. Oh, and it'll only do things naughty things with your girl once it's got her permission and yours. In writing.
