Verizon Communications topped a survey released Thursday by Gartner that measured what businesspeople thought of their wireless providers. Nearly 87 percent of the Verizon Wireless customers surveyed by Gartner reported they were "very or somewhat satisfied" with their Verizon service.
AT&T Wireless came in second, with an estimated 80 percent of the 200 surveyed by Gartner reporting the same level of satisfaction. Sprint was a close third, with 79 percent. Nextel Communications and Cingular Wireless were tied for fourth, both garnering about 63 percent.
