Verizon releases software update for Moto Devour
Verizon begins to roll out a software update for the Motorola Devour that improves performance and enhances features, but doesn't bring Android 2.1.
Easy there,
Verizon has begun rolling out software version CALAND_X_01.15.08P to the smartphone, which brings a number of fixes to improve performance and feature enhancements. These include:
- Improved stability in the browser, contacts, and V Cast Music apps
- Faster response time when using the Menu, Home, and Back keys
- Better call performance
- Easier removal of POP3 e-mail account and enhanced Exchange Calendar view to include meeting titles.
You can find a full list of update features here (PDF).
The over-the-air update is being released in batches, so you may not see it immediately. You'll receive a notification on your phone when it's ready for download. Let us know how it goes for you.
