VDOLive Now Works With Navigator 2.0

Santa Clara, California-based Internet video broadcasting company VDOnet Corporation has announced that its Net video technology, VDOLive, can now be built into Web pages developed with Netscape Navigator 2.0. The integration is possible due to VDOnet's support of Netscape's Plug-ins technology.

VDOLive compression technology allows the broadcasting and narrowcasting of motion video over distributed networks by compressing video images so that they fit into the small channels that make up much of the Internet.

The VDOLive Player can be downloaded at the company's Web site. Currently, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, or Windows NT is required, but VDOnet is planning to offer Mac and Unix players soon.
