VA Linux boosts professional services

VA Linux Systems has expanded its professional services offerings for companies building Internet infrastructure using Linux servers, the company said. New services include offering advice regarding network-attached storage devices, e-mail, large-scale Web server facilities, software to balance jobs across numerous servers, printing and Web site caching. The company also added services for its Symphero e-commerce package and other software. The company also began offering services to manage customers' computer systems.
