Utilities Updates: Startup Doubler, Default Folder and more

Startup Doubler 1.2 is out. Version 1.2 adds support for Mac OS 8.5 and it fixes a long standing bug that was causing a freeze at startup, often when running alongside Norton CrashGuard.

GraphicConverter 3.4.1 is out.

AntiGax 1.2 is out. This is the latest update to this anti-Graphics Accelerator virus utility.

Acrobat Reader 3.0.2 has new plug-ins. David Atkinson notes: "When I installed the new Acrobat Reader 3.0.2 and rebooted, the Trash can was bulging so I opened it and saw that the installer replaced the Adobe Sans MM, Adobe Serif MM and the Zapf Dingbats font suitcases with new ones. The problem is that the replacement Zapf Dingbats suitcase only contained 10 and 12-point sizes, whereas the suitcase tossed into the Trash contained 10, 12, 14, 18 and 24-point sizes."

A beta version of Default Folder 2.9.2b1 is available for testing. It fixesvarious bugs such as: "Clicking on the desktop could select the wrong folder on a file server volume."
