USinternetworking taps new CFO
USinternetworking, an early player in the application-hosting field, tapped Ernst & Young partner William Washecka as its new chief financial officer. Washecka, 53, plans to join the Annapolis, Md.-based company on June 16. Current CFO Mark McEneaney will become chief accounting officer. Prior to joining USi, Washecka served as a senior partner and director of high technology at auditing firm Ernst & Young. At USi, he will focus primarily on helping the company reach profitability targets and maintain growth.
