With TV shows going on hiatus or getting a late renewal for the next season, it's hard to keep track of when one of your favorites will be on. A while back I covered how to add TV show listings to your Google Calendar, with the help of TVRage.com listings. However, if you're looking to track shows without too much extra work, and you have an Android device, then the TV Show Favs app will do the trick.

Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Download a copy of TV Show Favs and tap the Create Account button on the main screen. Fill in the information, and the app will automatically log you in.

Now it's time to start adding your favorite shows.

Step 2: Press the magnifying glass in the top right-hand corner and enter the name of a show you want to track.

Select the show you're looking for from the list.

Step 3: After you open the information page for the show, press on the star at the bottom of the screen to add it to your favorites.

The star will move to the middle at the bottom of the screen, and a new settings icon will appear in the right-hand corner.

Step 4: Touch the settings icon to adjust how you'll be alerted about that particular show.

Once you're finished with the alert settings, it's a good idea to mark the seasons or episodes of the show you've already watched.

Step 5: Tap Seasons along the top menu for an individual show and tap on a season you've finished. Then press the menu button on your device to Mark Season Watched. Or, you can tap the check mark next to each episode if you haven't seen them all.

Now you can easily see when your shows will be on the air, or which shows you've missed.
