USA Network is zeroing in on a tag-team partner for its hit wrestling franchise "WWE Raw." The network has ordered a pilot of "EBaum's World," based on the popular Web site of the same name that hosts an irreverent collection of user-generated home videos and humor. USA hopes "Raw," which catapulted the network atop the basic cable ratings heap in the fourth quarter, will keep its young male-skewing audience around for the late-night block. A "World" series is a strong possibility to do just that at 11 p.m. USA also is said to be on the lookout for like-minded programming to serve as a lead-in to "Raw." The one-hour "World" pilot is the latest example of TV programmers turning to the Web for inspiration; VH1 and Bravo made similar deals for shows centered on viral-friendly video.
