Update: Apple seeds latest developer build of Mac OS X 10.6.4, no known issues

Update: Apple has seeded the latest developer build of Mac OS X 10.6.4 to developers. The build, now version 10F54, is reported to have no known issues, possibly signaling a public release soon.

Apple has seeded the latest developer build of Mac OS X 10.6.4 to developers. The build, version 10F54, is reported to have no known issues.

This latest build could be a signal that Apple is getting closer to releasing the 10.6.4 update for public consumption. AppleInsider reports that people familiar with the developer builds say that there are no known issues with the latest build and the list of fixes remains the same as previous builds.

AppleInsider reports that sources familiar with the latest build also includes a known issue relating to incorrect formatting of marketing text. The build also resolves an issue that could cause input devices to become unresponsive and fixes an issue with some Adobe CS3 applications not being able to open.

As updates to the latest seeds of Mac OS X 10.6.4 become more concise, we can expect the forthcoming public release of the update shortly. Of course we will keep you updated with news and notes when 10.6.4 becomes available.
