Unlocked LG G6 now available for $700

No contract, no problem. LG's G6 flagship is now available without any carrier strings for $700.

LG's flagship of the year, the G6, is now available unlocked for purchase at online retailers and for preorder at LG's site. Though Amazon currently lists it for about $630, others like B&H and LG are selling it for $700.

The phone marks LG's return to a more conventional phone, after the mediocre reception of its modular-like G5 from last year. It features a water-resistant design, a 5.7-inch display with barely-there bezels and two 13-megapixel cameras on the back.

Though it's just a smidge less powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S8 and its camera isn't as superior as the Google Pixel's, the phone comes at about $50-$100 cheaper than other flagships, while still offering much of the same high-end hardware.
