Twitter facing stiff competition from Snapchat

A new report says Snapchat is surpassing Twitter in terms of daily users. Meanwhile, there's a rumor that Twitter looked at a crazy merger plan with a certain search company.

On average, approximately 10 million more people use Snapchat per day compared to Twitter according to a new report from Bloomberg. Twitter has been struggling to find its footing in its 10-year lifespan. Snapchat has existed for only four years and seems to have figured out how to appeal to more people than Twitter.

That isn't even the craziest Twitter news. A report from the New York Post says Twitter looked into a merger with a big purple search company (hint, it rhymes with "Wahoo").
