You can't buy a 2006 Audi TT in California, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, or Maine. A note on the Audi Web site says that the car does not meet emission standards in these states. Strangely, the engine specs don't look different on the surface from the 2005 model year, and I don't believe the states have tightened their standards. I'll try and get some answers from Audi on this issue as soon as possible.
