Troubleshooting iLife '04: installing on non-SuperDrive DVD drive

An Apple Knowledge Base article provides a solution for installing iLife '04 for users with a non-SuperDrive DVD drive:

1. Insert the iLife '04 DVD.
2. Open the iLife installer.
3. Continue through License Agreement and Read Me screens.
4. Select a destination drive and click Continue.
5. Click Customize.
6. Place a check next to iDVD in the installer listing.
7. Click Install or Upgrade.
