Tributes to bombing victims on Net

The Internet is carrying tributes and live coverage of memorial services today for the one-year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

The Internet is carrying information, tributes to victims, and live coverage of memorial services today as the world commemorates the one-year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

KWTV, the CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City, is posting live images to its Web site from the memorial services honoring the victims of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing. The coverage lasts from 5 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. PDT and is being updated every two minutes.

The memorial includes three services: one for the survivors at 6 a.m., another for the rescue workers at 11 p.m., and a third for the Oklahoma City community at 1 p.m.

Several other sites are disseminating information about the bombing:
--The official Explosion in Oklahoma City site includes photos of the building as it looks today, a list of survivors, and an archive of news stories about the tragedy.
--The Oklahoma City Online Resources site has collected stories from people who survived the bombing and contact information for sending condolences and contributions.
--Court TV is posting transcripts of legal proceedings and other court documents pertaining to the case, as well as relevant articles from the Legal Times such as one headlined, "Representing the Accused Bomber."
--The American Psychological Association is offering emotional and psychological advice for those affected by the bombing, as well as lists of links to related sites.
--Prodigy has organized a site listing the names of those killed and excerpts from cards and letters sent to Oklahoma to offer condolences for the tragedy.
--CNN has also posted a special report on the Oklahoma tragedy.
